XP Home Edition

Just got a “new to me” laptop with Windows XP Home edition installed on it. My old one has XP Pro…..the old one would switch between my home network (mcguire) and my work (mshome) without me having to do anything. On the “new” one….i’m having to change the name……is this just somethis with home edition….or is there a way to fix?
