xp installation problem

few days back when i turned on my system booting d system started after that the screen became blue thats it.
then i tried bootin wid d xp cd. the message system checking hardware config appeared n after that screen went blank(black). i tried wid different xp cds n also took my hard disk n connected 2 some other system n tried but the result was same. i used gparted n formatted c drive n tried installing xp but stil d result is same(screen goes blank)
i’m able access the content of the hard disc thru fedora(my sys is dual boot xp n linux-fedora 6).but unable 2 instal xp.
anybody know wat exactly is the problem n how 2 fix it. pls help me.

asus motherboard with amd athlon 64 (1.8ghz) 3000+
80gb sata
512mbram
