XP performance improved with Adobe products

I support a department where the users run Adobe Photoshop CS3, as well as Adobe Illustrator. Ever since the update the load times for these programs have been much faster. The boot times have been a lot quicker as well. The department itself has commented a number of times where they have noticed significant improvement and these art developers are a tough crowd. Anyone else notice this, or know what was included in the service pack to make such a significant difference?
