XP VPN Connects but no file sharing

Hey Guys,

I created a VPN (host) on my computer (desktop1) at home. I am able to connect to it from my office using my laptop (laptop1) with no problems. However i am unable to access the shared files on desktop1. What am i doing wrong?

Here’s the IP Addresss i get on laptop1 after the VPN connection is made.

Server IP: 192.168.1.104
Client IP: 192.168.1.102

When i ping 192.168.1.104, i get a Request timed out. The computer at home is on a DMZ but has the IP of 192.168.1.101.

I have tried \\192.168.1.104 & 101, nothing connects.

Please HELP!
