XP Won’t Boot AND can’t even boot from disk or CD

Hi all,

I ran complete hardware diagnostics – all passed. Tried safe mode, tried last known good config, tried all the 10 steps listed in the article. Nothing works.

When I try to boot from the Windows XP CD I end up with a blank screen after it goes through the beginning stuff.

So, I can’t even boot from the Windows CD. Any ideas what I should try next?

My thought is to remove the 2 hard drives, install them in another system and make complete backups. Then I’d like to reinstall XP, but how can I do that when I can’t even get to boot from the CD?

Help!
