Xylogic rtelnet replacement

I’m trying to port some applications from AT&T SVR4 to Linux. One of those applications concerns using a Bays terminal server as a device on my Linux server. The way it works is that the system associates a device on the Unix box with the IP and port address on the Bays terminal.

The old system used a Xylogic version of rtelnet, which does not remotely work the same way as rtelnet in Linux. The Xylogic rtelnet allows me to give the IP, port and device names and they are then both associated.

Are there any tools (homegrown, free or available for purchase) that will do this?
