yahoo messenger in linux

dear all

i am having redhat linux 7.1. i installed unix version of yahoo messenger. but i am unable to login. my username and passwd everything is correct. i am very sure abt it. i am using the same user id in windows environment. i am accessing net through proxy. i followed the help in yahoo site. all my proxy setting also correct. whenever i trying to login (the yellow button) is coming and thereafter no activity. can anyone help me!!!
