Zonealarm 7 / Avast Antivrus

Hello All,

I have recently upgraded to zonealarm 7 from using 6.5 i read that the av feature of zonealarm 7 doesn’t work and could lead to a security hole in software.

I have installed avast antivirus which i only have running the standard scanner, the web scanner and network scanner.

I figured that i dont need to have switched on zonealarms antivrus, as ive got avast running in background. Is this a good move?

Also does zonealarm av run in background or only when you ask it to do a scan?
