Creative uses for dead computers

  • Target practice

    Cyrix Target Practice

IT departments traditionally dispose of outdated or damaged computer equipment through employee sales, charitable donations or trips to the local dump. Some however, go beyond these normal methods transforming dead computer hardware into works of art, clocks, and even garden fixtures. We’ve dedicated this photo gallery to creative uses of dead computer equipment.

A hail of bullets put an end to this Cyrix PC.

  • Monitor Diorama

This was a project that Margaret in Alabama and I worked on together long distance. We both had old monitors, and a southwestern group swap that we had both done and no place for all the items. So we decided to both do a southwestern office/den in the old monitors. Great fun working on a project together.
