    Except for the scroll ball, the surface of Apple Computer’s new wireless Mighty Mouse looks like its standard, single-button Bluetooth mouse. The right and left buttons are actually touch sensors hidden by the mouse’s white shell.

  • The Mac maker claims that Mighty Mouse’s laser tracking engine is 20 times more sensitive than that of a normal optical mouse.

  • The original, wired Mighty Mouse debuted last year. Its key feature: the scroll ball, which enables 360-degree movement with one finger. Touch-sensitive technology under the top shell detects where you’re clicking.

  • Three previous generations of Apple mice: Apple’s “hockey puck” mouse, the Pro Mouse and the tailed Mighty Mouse.
