    Introduction

DVD burners have been around for many years, and the Windows\r\noperating system includes native DVD burning capabilities. However, the built-in\r\nDVD features are limited and not always intuitive. Fortunately, a number of\r\nthird-party tools are available to help with DVD burning. This article lists\r\nfive such tools.

  • Express Burn Plus Edition

    Express Burn Plus Edition

Express Burn uses a simple drag-and-drop interface for disc\r\nauthoring and lets you create optional ISO files if you don’t want to burn a\r\nphysical disc.

  • Cheetah DVD Burner

You can burn a disk simply by dragging the files to be\r\nburned and clicking the Burn Disc icon. It doesn’t get any easier than that.

  • DVD Power Burner

As a bonus, this tool contains wizards to help with such\r\ntasks as copying a disc, mastering audio, and erasing storage medium.

  • Any Video to DVD Converter and Burner

Any Video to DVD Converter and Burner

The best thing about this tool is the number of video formats\r\nit supports. Along with the ones you would expect, such as Flash, QuickTime,\r\nand Windows Media, the app supports many of the more obscure video formats,\r\nsuch as .NUT, .NSV, or .MOD.

  • BurnQuick Data\/Audio CD\/DVD Burner

    BurnQuick Data/Audio CD/DVD Burner

It would be easy to dismiss this tool as being way too basic,\r\nbut it does have one redeeming quality: BurnQuick is quite flexible with regard\r\nto burner use. If your DVD burner is not automatically selected, you can\r\nperform a custom hardware definition to allow BurnQuick to use your DVD burner.
