Access 2K and Access 97 Concurrently

My appologies if this appears anywhere else on this site. I am having a problem with Access 2000 and Access 97. We have several users that run Access 97 and 2000 concurrently. The problem is that Access 2000 runs through the reconfigure routine every time that access 97 has been run before it. If you run Access 2000 before Access 97, no re-configuration but once Access 97 is run, invariably, Access 2000 reconfigures itself. It is only an annoyance, but I would like to see it gone. The Programs are installed on the D: partion and in seperate folders within “Program Files”. Any help would be appreciated
