Access help

In MS Access I want to populate a combo box in a sub form based on the currently selected field value on the main form, in order to limit the combo box selections to only those relevent to the selected item in the main form field. Is such a thing possible please? I am NOT familiar with SQL or VBA programing so ideally a solution without using either of these methods would be helpful.
