I have a customer who has upgraded their machine, and is now using Outlook Express as their E-mail client, in conjunction with Windows address Book. They have Works Suite 2001, including Word 2000. The problem is importing addresses from WAB to Word. Word seems to require an Outlook Address book, Personal Address book from Microsoft Exchange (*.pab), or a CSV file. Works Suite itself uses the Windows Address Book. They could export to Outlook if they had Outlook installed on the system but theydo not wish to do this. The question then is how to access the WAB from Word….it doesn’t seem possible without Outlook 2000 on the system and this is not a viable solution. We have tried all manner of importing and exporting, but Word blatantly refuses to accept any format we can produce. Any suggestions??!
