Adobe PDF Driver problem

I am running Win XP SP2 on a new Dell. Acrobat 6.0 was pre-installed. My problem is that if I try to print to PDF, it instead prints to my HP Officejet d135 printer, which is connected locally, as if the pdf driver can’t be seen. This occurs even if another another printer is set as default. I have no idea why this occurs and would appreciate any help. I have reinstalled Acrobat and that didn’t help.
