Adware Virus?

I am having a problem with Adware 6.0 on a Windows 2000 computer. What happens is everytime it gets to this file C:\Winnt\Temporary Internet Files\Content IE 5\74X54545\
I get an error message that satates that access was denied and that there is a virus name Adware SSF.dr and it says that the infected file name is located C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local settings\Temp\16491463250.
I did do the scan by deactivating the indepth scanning, but i would really like a good scan to be done.
Has anyone had this problem and if so please help me figure out how to fix it.
