Aix64 MAIL UNIX: To attach a file to an email and put text into the body

I need to do two things at the same time:
1.To attach a file to an email
2.Put text into the body of the mail

I have studied the instructions that you write in internet(*) but that instructions work separately.

(*)mail -s “report” root < log.file (this puts only the text of log.file into the body of the mail ) (*)uuencode log.file log.file | mail -s "report" root (this send only the log.file as an attachment to the mail ) Do you Know if Is there a way to send an email with text into the body and an attach file at the same time ? thanks, Leticia Vargas INCAE Costa Rica
