Hello! I recently upgraded my Windows98 computer to Windows 2000 Professional (while running 98, not from a clean hd) Whenever I go to run AOL, it states Waol.exe – unable to locate DLL
“Dynamic link library JGAW400.DLL could not be found” then it lists the locations where the file is normally stored. Attempting to simply move the DLL in to the given location, I copied the DLL on my Windows XP computer onto a floppy disk and transferred it to the given location – no problem. I open AOL, still can’t be found. Then I was told to take the file from my other computer I have which has Win98 and put it on. This one gives me a message when I try to move the file from the floppy disk saying “Cannot copy JGAW400 :Error performing Inpage operation”…Now…What the heck is an inpage operation, lol… I don’t know why this won’t work, maybe I need the DLL off of another Windows 2000 Pro computer…Either way it doesn’t matter a ton I don’t think. I can still run AOL and IE despite the missing DLL. Would just be nice to work out all of Windows 2000’s kinks on my system. Thanks, and I hope to see some replies =)
