Arcserve 2000 restore mailbox

Big problem !!

We are trying to restore from a crashed mailserver with a backup tape (DLT). The restore concers the outlook mailbox. This is going terribly slow. Do you have any advise?

This is our configuration:

Windows 2000 server SP4
Microsoft Exchange 5.5
Arcserve 2000
