Better way to uninstall & install Office

Which is the best way for a ” good ” change in Office Versions ? Is it installing Office XP over Office 2000 Premium or uninstalling Office 2000 Premium first , and then installing Office XP ?

Also….is there a way to add-in Microsoft Photo Editor to an Office 2000 Premium without the Photo Editor ??
