Actually, I’m not really asking for help as much as I’m asking for some links to some good tutorials. I would rather have that, so I can reference it.
bind is already set up, but it is very generic(thus, why I have all ports blocked). I am leasing this machine, and the setup was part of the deal. I will be hosting at least 2 web sites, where I would like separate dns for. I also will probably sell web space, which will require me to be able to update the bind. Even if I don’t sell space, I want to offer free space to religious organizations.
So, any help/direction here would be greatly appreciated.
I am most likely going to install webmin, actually I’m almost positive I will be. But, I would like to know or at least have an idea what I am doing first.
Also, the os is FreeBSD 6.2 stable.
Ya know, they really need a UNIX tag for us UNIX fans. ;o)
Oh, does anyone know what ports are used for passive ftp? I need to work my firewall for that too.
