Blank emails in outlook 6

I am using outlook 6, on a win xp machine. This is both the operating system and version of outlook that came on my machine. A while back, my emails suddenly quit having text in them, also all my old saved emails are also blank. I regularly check for spyware and viruses. I am out of ideas of what is causing my problem.
