We are using CA products for anti virus control as well as CA Content inspection as another level of virus protection.
These products are doing a good job but when an email with an infected attachment is processed the attachment and virus is removed and replaced with an attachment giving details of the virus and what was done to it. The email is then delivered to the intended recipient.
The replaced attachment is always named AV-ScanReport.TxT
Problem:
I would like a process to remove the whole email from the system or at least an automatic rule at the client to delete these emails that have this particular attachment.
Preferrably a filter/rule/setting on the Exchange 2000 server thereby eliminating the need for the client to handle the email.
The Exchange 2000 server is running on a Windows 2000 server with AD in native mode.
Any suggestions would be appreciated
