Can I repair bad links from email to web

When reading my Techmails and I click on the blue link to go to the web page, the page times out and gives the message “504 Gateway time out occurred: server unreachable Please contact your administrator.
Is there a corruption at my end? or what? This only occurs on links from outlook express, I can connect to the Techrepublic Webpage and read the same document from there. It would just appear that the links do not work.
