Cannot find the specified path

I noticed that when I try to open any .pdf files within Outlook, it tells me that it cannot find the specified path. I noticed all .pdf files have this same problem. I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled Adobe Acrobat 5.0 and still have the same problem. Windows 2000 is my operating system. Your help on this would be greatly appreciated.
