When i try to open up the admin mailbox, via the inbox icon on the servers desktop, I get the following message:
“Exchng32.exe
Access violation (0x0000005)
address 0x6276eeb1”
You can’t access the administrators mailbox, you can only clickOK in the drwatson box the error message is displyed in.
Im running Exchange 5.5 and the admin mailbox currently holds 1202kB of info in 2640 seperate items. Nothing else is wrong with exchange – all network clients are unaffected, and i can’t find any exchange error messages in the event viewer.
I presummed the reason was that the mailbox is too large to open. I have run several ‘clean inbox’ commands setting them to effectively delete everything, but they do nothing. Also two othermailboxes have double the ammount of info and they work fine.
