cant access http mail from o_express6

Hi
I changed to a new computer running WinXP and now cannot access my http email account with Outlook Express 6.0. I have been accessing the same account on my previous computer running WinME and OE 4.5 without no problems.

OE 6.0 gave me the following error message:
“Unable to poll for new messages on your HTTP server. Account: ‘http://mail.aec-aircon.com:8089’, Server: ‘http://mail.aec-aircon.com:8089’, Protocol: HTTPMail, Port: 0, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x80042007”

Another error message that came up after initial configuration of my http account was:
“Your server does not support the required http methods”.

Is there some settings in OE 6.0 that I should disable to make it compatible to OE 4.5 and allow me access to this particular email server?
