Cant open word file

When trying to open a file I get the error message ( the document name or path is not valid, check file permisions, or use file opendialog box to locate document)

This is a word file, and the permissions are ok, the file exists, te path is ok, I can copy the file to another folder, but I get the same error. Any ideas?
