Cant Receive Messages in Win Messenger

I am running Exchange 2000 with Instant Messenging. From my workstation, I cannot receive messages. I can send all I want, but my receipients cannot reply. I have looked this up and even found a MS KB article (264673)That fix did not work. Any suggestions?
