Catastrophic failure

A customized plugin for Microsoft Excel was installed a computer. Now two Microsoft Visual Basic error boxes appear when Excel is started. The first message states system error &H8000FFF …Catastrophic Failure. When you close this window, the second one says Out of Memory. I remove the Plugin for now, but would like to use it. Is anyone familiar with these errors.
