Changing Outlook’s First EMail

A new account created in an NT4/Exchange 5.5 environment with Office 2k generates an Outlook message when the user first open’s Outlook. This message talks about the features of Outlook.

Is there a way to customise that initial message so that users receive information about Network rules, Support Hours and Contact info, and other company specific information?

We migrated from Pegasus/Mecury roughly a year ago. One of the features I miss about Peagusus was the ability to create a custom message that all users received during there first login to our network. This was very useful for conveying company information.
