Copy of mail on client

I recently replaced a low-end mail server with Exchange 2000. Clients run Outlook 2000. I realize that Exchange keeps mail in a server database. How can I set up Outlook to download a copy of the email to the client workstations, providing insurance in the event of an Exchange crash?
