copy table from dataset

I need to copy table from a dataset then return saved copy into the original table.

dim cpytbl as new datatable
cpytbl = ds.table(“name”).copy

entr process

ds.table.(“name”) = cpytbl
this statement give an error
“Property ‘Item’ is ‘ReadOnly’ ”
