Create specific fixed width in access

by henrikpes . Updated 24 years, 2 months ago

Dearest!
What I am trying to accomplish should be simple. From an MSaccess database I want to create a .txt, fixed width file that can be used by another database. So of course the exporter would be the natural choice. However, I want leading zeroes and I want to always have lets say three decimals. Even if I have the right format in Access it is exported incorrectly. E.g. XXXX.XXX is the format of choice, but 4444.440 becomes XXXX.XX due to the zero. This of coourse causes my fixed width to be messed up. Is there a better exporter that I can use? I also looked into the schema.ini concept, but no luck so far. Any input would be great!
