Creating a form with Database in Excel

I need to create a form that adds the data entered into a hidded database. I know that Access would be the better choice than Excel, but Access is not an option.

Every time a form is completed I need part of the data to be added to a database. the form must also include a dropdown list where the user can make predefined choices. Also tick boxes etc. how can I lnk these to a databse that will be hidden away from the user.
