I am not sure if I ever asked this before because Techrepublic does not show me more than the last 20 Qs.
I run a website on XP Pro SP2 with IIS 5.1. I am sure Frontpage Extensions are loaded but I am not sure how to activate them if needeed. The website itself is made primarily from Forntpage 2003.
I am trying to find or create a simple guestbook out of HTML, java, or even ASP (if it works). I have a 3rd party vendor’s guestbook but it is no longer working, and I would never have another site host anything of mine. I want a simple page of forms people add in their name and comments, optional fields like email and url. Then when they click OK, it appends their info, with date/time, to all other entries, either on the same page or another, so all can see.
That is it. I have been spending weeks trying to Google something I can do but found nothing. I am not an HTML expert. I can manipulate a bit in the code as I do with my own pages.
Can you please point me to a good site that can help with this or sample code that works I can use?
Of course, I am looking for FREE alternatives.
If you need more info let me know.
Thank you.
