Creating a matrix report in Access using Memo Fields

I have a report in Access that is using 7 fields, one being a Memo field. I have created it to look like a matrix report meaning I have added a line horizontally across the report to be printed between each detail and also I have added a line to be printed vertically between each field. Therefore creating the look of a matrix(trying to make it look like an Excel report). The problem I am having is when the memo field gets to be too long, my lines that are vertical only goes as far as the shortest amount of data printed. Does anyone have a solution for this. Thanks
