Defragment priv.edb

When I try to defragment the priv.edb (9Gb) file with eseutil utility on the Exchange 5.5 with the redirected temporary drive (network drive with 10,5 Gb ree space for tempdfrg.edb), I suppose that the process stops (when the temp file is about 4 Gbin size) as it is inactive for hours and on the server in the application event log I get hundreds of events with ID 161 from ESE97 with the following description: “((337) ) File system error 112 during IO on database t:\exctmp\tempdfrg.edb. Please restore a database from a previous backup”
