Demo Application Expires

Hello,
Can/will someone advice or provide an example on how to make an application (Developed in MS-Access) to look for other software (Excel, Outlook & Word) installed on a PC. Also, expire automatically after a specific period. I would also request you to explain how to generate a serial number for the software created.
