Developing flows through Exchange Server

I have a Exchange server installed into my infrastructure and I listened at once time, that it had a module that allows you to implement a process workflow based on e-mail, where I could design this process into the Exchange directly (or thru a add-in) and it was rolled up automatically. Does anybody have any information about it and if yes, could you inform clearly how could I perform this or even if there is any other software available in the market to eletronic workflow?
