Disappearing File Menu

Hey folks,

I’m assuming a student is doing this, but even our computer teacher can’t figure this one out:

In Microsoft Word 2k, the File button is missing from the Menu Bar. I’ve tried resetting all the toolbars back to defaults, etc., but so far have had no luck getting it back. Pressing Alt-F doesn’t bring up the File Menu, either.

Any ideas?
