Disappearing Signature

lately, some computer end-users have notified me about a problem with their signature in MS Outlook 2000, the signature disappear. the signature doesn’t actually disappear, what happen is that MS Outlook loses the signature and the end-user needs to pick a signature every time they lose it. the signature were created in ms outlook. does anybody know what can be causing this problem?
