Driver and module missing at boot-up

When I boot my computer, it doesn’t display the desktop right away. I am able to start and run the computer, but it says I am missing certain Windows components. I have to continue by pressing any key. After I do so 3 times, I get the following error messages (paraphrasing the essence of them)—
1. The following driver is missing from your computer—msnp32.dll
2. Unable to load the enable32.vxd module.
