I am trying to set up a email account on my laptop using NTL Broadband and i have an ethernet card.
I have managed to set up 3 other email accounts using the NTL Broadband and have been succesful.
However, i am unsuccessful with the laptop.
I set up an account in OE are as follows.
Go to TOOLS, accounts and click add (mail).
Follow the wizard and when you get to mail server you need.
incoming is pop.ntlworld.com
outgoing is smtp.ntlworld.com
Put in your email address and password.
I suggest you click the save password.
But when i come to sending and receiveing emails i get the message in OE that tells me that the email account is authorising, then it shows me the box that has the user name and password in it.
I click the ok then it shows me the box that has the user name and password in it again and keeps on doing this.
I can understand what I am doing wrong as the IE is working ok.
Can anyone advise me what i am doing wrong
