Email client not sending

I have someone using Win2K that is unable to send email from any client. They have been using OE. I loaded 2 other email clients, but was not able to send anything from any of them. Can receive email fine & surf the net. I have changed the settings on all clients several times, but still no joy.

They can receive email fine & surf the net with no problems. I have changed the “hosts” file with a new one without any solution. I even renamed OE’s “folders.dbx” & had it create another one.

Does anyone have any other solutions for this?? Would it make any difference to remove networking & reinstall it? Would a dirty install of Win2k make any difference??
