Email display name change

Currently, I have a mailbox for Sales with address of sales@company.com. I need to make a change of the display name to read Company instead of Sales. I’m running Win2k Exchange server. I’ve made a change to the display name in the AD under the Generic tab for the Sales account, but the display name remains the same when I send a test to my personal mail account. I can’t imagine that I’ll need to regenerate an account for this. Has anyone a quick solution? Thanks.
