Emailing Favs-(not just the icon pic.)

Whenever I try to copy my favorites and email them, I run into the following:

1. the favs folder only is sent via email, not the actual list of bookmarked pages.

2. I use IE-6, re-downloaded and run after failing with IE-7, because IE-7-(vista-compatible) screwed up my favorites so that my browser could not even open them, or find them for that matter. (shortcuts no longer worked.)

3. Same problem when trying to email favs; is there any way to make a text file copy of these bookmarked pages with copy/paste?
