Emulation

Does anyone know where to fine hardware emulation
software??
I want to emulate a (PERC2)PowerEdge Raid Controller2 on my laptop.
I want to find some software that, when it is installed on a computer it is seen by the system as a piece of hardware.
What I want to do is practise setting up RAID combinations on my laptop before I deploy them.
