Error 1904

When ever I try to use detect & repair in a document or try to repair Office from the add remove program file I get the message ” error 1904. module C:\windows\system\MSRCLR40.dll failed to register. HRESULT-2147023739 contact your support personnel”
I am using Windows Me & Office 2000 Can anyone help?
