***Error in SST***, an Excel problem

Hello,
When I open a specific Excel file, the document appears to be empty alltough it is 700 Kb big. When I open the same file in OpenOffice I see ***Error in SST*** in the majority of the cells. In fact, all the texts have dissappeared only a few numbers and dates remain in place. Other Excel documents aren’t altered. Can someone explain me how I can recover my file (No recent backup ;-( )?
